OnePlus jumped into the TV game recently, and now the company is going even harder with the announcement of three new models that are coming soon to India.
OnePlus U Series
The company first revealed a new U Series TV with some pretty solid specs and a Rs. 49,999 price tag, which is about $670. It comes with a 55-inch display with support for 4K content. The U series TV comes with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG which covers most of the major standards. As one might expect from a phone company like OnePlus, the set comes with Android TV as its OS. That Android TV OS is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT5887 chipset with four Cortex A53 cores.
OnePlus Y Series
As for the Y Series, the company revealed two different models. They’re on the more affordable side of the spectrum, as they’re available in 32- and 43-inch models with the former having an HD resolution and the latter seeing full 1080p. The 32-inch model comes with a Rs 12,999 (~$175) price tag, and the 43-inch version sells for Rs 22,999 (~$310). Both include Android TV. It features a bezel-less design that should look quite nice on a TV stand.
All of the TVs come with Oxygen Play, which is the company’s discovery service that promises to make it easier to find content.
The three new OnePlus TVs will be available from Amazon India starting July 5, so anyone looking to add one of these to their living room will only need to wait a couple of days.
